Law360: Christopher Bogart on the UK's SRA at ILFA's Inaugural European conference

Burford CEO Christopher Bogart spoke at the International Legal Finance Association's (ILFA) inaugural European conference in London, where "he compared investment opportunities in the UK legal market to that of Arizona and Utah." In doing so, Bogart criticized the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), saying that the "bureaucratic attitude of the regulator" has "'completely stymied'" the "'policy goals of the legislation' that was introduced to pave the way to ownership of legal services businesses by nonlawyers."
Burford acquired a minority stake in PCB Litigation LLP in June 2020.
