Burford's CEO talks to CityAM about the company's decision to reduce dispute resolution activities in London, citing "'uncertainties'" caused by government delays
Burford CEO Christopher Bogart speaks with CityAM about how, while London has a "'very strong global reputation for legal services,'" government delays related to the PACCAR case have resulted in "'uncertainty'" and thus, Burford is "'less focused on using dispute resolution in London than we would have been a couple of years ago.'"
Bogart adds, "'We have options, and those include New York, Paris and Singapore so right now we’re migrating some dispute resolution activity away from London and towards New York for example.'"
