Chief Marketing Officer
Liz Bigham is Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for Burford’s brand and global marketing activities and leading Burford’s media relations globally. Liz helped launch The Equity Project, Burford’s ground-breaking initiative designed to help close the gender gap in law by providing an economic incentive for change through a $50 million pool of capital earmarked for financing commercial litigation matters led by women.
Prior to joining Burford, Liz was the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Jack Morton Worldwide, a top-ranked global marketing services agency that is part of the Interpublic Group. At Jack Morton, Liz led a global team that increased awareness and generated growth for the agency. In addition to winning new accounts for Jack Morton, Liz’s marketing initiatives were recognized with multiple awards for excellence, including numerous Communicator Awards and Webby honors. Prior to joining Jack Morton, Liz worked in curatorial departments at New York cultural institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum for African Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Liz has a master’s degree in Art History from Columbia University and graduated from Barnard College, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
