The Dutch Resolution of Mass Damage in Collective Action Act (WAMCA) has gained attention for its collective action approach. In the past four years, nearly 80 collective actions have been filed under its revised rules, with about a third seeking damages, which was previously not allowed. In this webcast, panelists explored the evolving landscape of European collective redress in competition and privacy law from a Dutch perspective and discussed how legal finance can be used to achieve legal redress for businesses and other parties that have suffered harm.
