Matt Lee, Principal at Burford overseeing the company’s investment activity and Australian business operations, will be participating in a panel at Resolution Institute’s 2021 international conference, “Resolution and Reinvention: Dispute Resolution During a Crisis and Beyond”. The panel is on “Access to Justice in Commercial Arbitration” and will take place on July 16, at 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM EST at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney.
The two-day conference is the first face-to-face event in the region’s ADR calendar and will focus on the significant challenges faced by local and global economies as a result of COVID-19 and creating new flexibility and priorities in dispute prone sectors to maintain business and rebuild community confidence and harmony. It consists of 27 specialist sessions and six plenaries with over 90 key influencers and stakeholders from business, government, judiciary, commercial and academia.
The Resolution Institute is the largest dispute resolution membership organization in Australia and New Zealand and was formed in 2015. The institute is managed by Amber Williams (CEO), Trevor Slater (COO) and Robert Grima (CFO).
