Championing change: Strategies for GCs to promote diversity in commercial litigation
- Diversity in law
The lack of diversity in the leadership of high-value commercial disputes is stark. According to research, nearly three quarters (74%) of senior in-house lawyers believe there are significant obstacles to achieving diversity in high-stakes disputes. Through its award-winning Equity Project, Burford works to offer solutions to in-house leaders and their law firms to help close this gap.
Join us for a conversation led by Burford’s Kate Tellez and Carrie Tendler with leading in-house and law firm lawyers about how companies and firms can take meaningful steps to improve diversity in the leadership of high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration.
During the webcast, participants will gain insights into:
Creating incentives to prioritize diversity in commercial dispute leadership
Establishing clear and measurable diversity goals for law firm engagements
Fostering a culture of mentorship and sponsorship for diverse talent
How economic incentives like The Equity Project can help
The webcast will take place at 11:00AM EST | 4:00PM GMT.
