Katharine Wolanyk, Managing Director at Burford, and Joshua Harris, Senior Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at a roundtable on the value of third-party financing in unlocking monetization potential from innovation. The roundtable “Creating Value from IP Assets: Legal Finance Perspectives” hosted by the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA) will take place on 5 May at 6:00PM – 7:30PM EST.
The panel is part of a series of legal finance topics for the NYIPLA virtual “stage.” Katharine and Joshua will be joined by Michael Albert (Wolf Greenfield). The panel will be moderated by R.J. McLaughlin (Kirkland & Ellis) and will dive into recent trends in financing, including corporate portfolio management, the use of legal finance as a business development tool for prospective clients and the value creation in the Life Science patent litigation and transactional practices. A Q&A session will follow the conversation.
