Emily Tillett to speak to the Hong Kong Bar Association
Emily Tillett, Vice President at Burford Capital will speak to the Hong Kong Bar Association on third party funding and outcome related fee structures. This event will take place on December 18 at 5:00pm HKT virtually.
The discussion will explore arbitration funding issues relevant to barristers including structure of funders and services/products, funders’ criteria for funding cases, profile of cases currently being funded in Hong Kong, China and Asia, structures for sharing arbitration funding among solicitors, barristers and other lawyers and practical issues that arise including as to conflicts. Emily will be joined by Ruth Stackpool-Moore (Omni Bridgeway).
Founded in Year 1949, the Hong Kong Bar Association is the professional organization of barristers in Hong Kong and is registered under the Societies Ordinance.
