Joshua Harris to speak at Hot Topics in IP Cases: Litigation Funding

Joshua Harris, Director at Burford Capital will speak at "Hot Topics in IP Cases: Litigation Funding" hosted by New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA). The session will take place on April 16 at 6:00PM EDT in New York.    

Joshua will be joined by Irena Royzman (Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP), Hon. Jose L. Linares (Ret.) (United States District Court for the District of New Jersey), Denise DeFranco (Johnson & Johnson) and Chris Israel (ACG Advocacy). 

NYIPLA was conceived as an organization through which patent lawyers in New York could make their views known in Washington and provide support for the judiciary. The Association, presided over by William Houston Kenyon, immediately launched into an ambitious program of activities, including the support of the Lehlback Bill, the investigation of post-war revival of the Patent Treaty with Germany, and the encouragement of improvements in the quarters of the federal courts in New York City.
