The American Lawyer reports on Burford's leadership as it relates to alternative business structures (ABS) for law firms. As noted, Burford purchased a minority stake in PCB Litigation in 2020. With developments in the US in both Arizona and Utah, Burford's co-founder and chief investment officer Jonathan Molot describes "legal finance companies as 'natural partners for law firms that embrace' the ABS that has emerged in Utah and Arizona."
